I’m a Brazilian living in Miami, Florida. My first photographs were taken in 1985 in Recife where I learned my first steps, completed a couple of photography courses, and started working as a freelancer taking pictures for local newspapers and various social events. In 2001, already in Miami, I started working on weddings, birthday parties, concerts, and a few studio works. Something that I have learned that has changed my point of view, my “Prisma”, was something a teacher once told me, “photography is the art of creation; creation is to see what everybody sees and think what no one else has thought”. I love this talent that God has given me and being able to use this gift by serving people through photography. I seek perfection in every moment, every picture, and every project to fully satisfy my customer’s needs. Prisma Photography seeks to express both the present moment and the past through images; images varying from people, social events, weddings, Nature, landscapes, cityscapes, architecture and photojournalism as well.
